ESTIMATION, BUDGETING & BILLING OF BUILDING PROJECTS @ 40 HRS (6 WEEKS)
Program Outcomes	Learners will get acquainted with principles of measurement & units conversion, can better comprehend various drawings & item specifications, take off quantities & do rate analysis w.r.f. codal provisions (IS 1200), prepare project estimates, do contactor-client & extra item billing. They can generate different reports.
Job Opportunities	Estimation & Billing Engineer, Quantity Surveyor in Building Projects (Mainly real estate and industrial) (It is advisable for freshers to get site experience before entering into these areas)

Eligibility	Working professionals - Civil engineers / Architects; Final yr students & Diploma Civil with 2 yr. on site exp./ QS
Pre-requisite	Basic knowledge of drawing reading, item specification, unit conversion, autocad drawing & working on excel is necessary. Need to have own laptop.
Batch timings:	Batch timings: Sunday (Offline) : 9:30 am to 1 pm & 2 to 5:30 pm @ 7 hrs/week, such 6 Sundays Mon to Saturday (Online): 8:00 to 9:15 am @ 7 hrs/week, such 6 weeks
Course Outline	Week1: QS role in various project stages, Drawing reading, Conversion of units & conversion of rates, Reading item specifications of major building items, Review of Excel and AutoCAD for QS Week 2: Estimation: Principles of measurement of major building items, BBS for footings, column, beam, slab, staircase, lift Week 3: Quantity take-off & Rate analysis of major building items Week 4: Types of estimates; MEP item estimate (basic); Prepare various reports (Budget Report, Actual Report) Week 5: Billing: Client & Contractor billing; Debits Notes / Deviations Week 6: Extra item / non tender item billing; Monthly Billing / Reconciliation and Contract Administration
Certification	Yes, of Infini Institute upon attending 90% classes and completing tests/assignments
Attendance criteria	90% and above to get qualifying certificate else you will get attendance certificate
Tests / Assignments	Yes, in the form of real time case studies. Need to complete all assignments to get qualifying certificate.

Fees payment	Full payment in 1 stroke / max. 2 instalments. 2nd instalment shall be paid within 3 weeks from the start of course. Instalment charges of Rs. 500/- per instalment.
